Chicago based Internet hosting firm, ReadyWire Multimedia Solutions, has announced it now supports business email on Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.  ReadyWire hosted Exchange customers can now access their business email via secure IMAP using any up-to-date iPhone or iPod touch.  This will allow iPhone users to get direct push, always-synced email on their new devices

The ability to access business email on the iPod through ReadyWire’s hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007 plans, including PDF, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel attachment capability, make the iPod touch an unexpected, but welcome business tool for consumers.

“In the City of Chicago, it’s nearly impossible to walk the streets or ride the EL without seeing white ear buds,” said Rick Hall, ReadyWire CEO. “Combined with ReadyWire email, it will give users a complete experience of multimedia, telephone and Internet as well as full direct push email.”

ReadyWire’s “iPhone plan” will include one mailbox for just $15.95 per month, with a nominal one-time setup fee to get started. Users will get 500 MB of disk space per mailbox and access to the extensive features of Exchange 2007, such as calendars, contacts and the rich OWA 2007 Web mail, in addition to direct push email.
